I have been insured with PZ for 15 years with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations, and yet my premium is still ludicrous. Over the years I have given them thousands of dollars without direct benefit other than a piece of paper claiming damages would be covered in the event of an accident. When I finally needed the policy because an uninsured motorist rear-ended me, PZ made it a nightmare to collect. I had to make no less than 8 phone calls to them and their parent provider, I was repeatedly transferred to new departments and spent literal hours on hold. They refused to honor my policy unless I pressed charges against the other driver, yet they would not provide me with legal representation. In the end I had to go out of pocket to repair my car, if it weren’t mandatory here I would dump insurance scams altogether.
