Our business with the House of Insurance was a transfer when our original business with Burdick Insurance agency in Watertown, WI was sold. Because of that, we sort of landed with this company by default, but they were still able to sell us Erie insurance, who we’ve generally considered to be a good deal so we have stayed on with them.
The only real issue we ran in to was when we were in the process of selling our house in Watertown, and moving to our current location. I had some difficulty getting timely responses from the agent and it came close to seriously derailing the delicate timing required to by and sell a house at the same time. We were able to work through it however, and though we haven’t had a need to really leverage the insurance, the process was thorough and professional.
