1. My wife and I move to Florida last summer, and when we updated our addresses, our respective auto insurance policies increased substantially. We weren’t sure what to do — if we should put both of our cars (and ourselves) on the same policy. We hadn’t done that in the 3 years we’d been married because it was cheaper not to. We weren’t sure if we should lower our limits, raise our deductibles, etc. And because we had so many options, we realized an independent agent would be our best bet. Prior to this, I hadn’t had an independent agent in years, and neither had my wife. However, with so many variables, we really wanted to be in the hands of a professional. Roberto made us feel much better about things, though. He took the time to get to know us, explained what our different options were, and made suggestions, all the while without seeming pushy. And he got us a MUCH better price than we were quoted.
