When we were new homeowners we priced bundled homeowners and auto insurance from several local insurance companies. When we chose Allstate, we went through their website and handled all the registration there.
Shortly after we moved into our house we started getting mail once a week from Bianco thanking us for choosing him as our agent. We’ve never talked to him, we didn’t choose him, he was just randomly assigned to us.
During a major winter storm in 2010 our house took damage and it needed to be reported to the home owners insurance agency. I called the 1-800 number for allstate and was put in touch with operators outside of the state. During the several month process of getting the extensive repairs, the insurance company sending adjusters and inspectors and all the other little things that happen, we never once heard from Bianco.
But, he’s still nice enough to fill up our mailbox with spam mail every couple of weeks giving us updates on how awesome he is.
