1. I have had the good fortune of not needing to call my insurance agent much, but the times I have called him have always been pleasant. Most recently, during an uncommonly cold few days this winter, my hydronic floorboard heater stopped working because one of the pipes froze. I had to call an HVAC company to help me identify and remedy the problem. They suggested that I call my insurance agent to see if I was covered. When I did call Tim Brion’s office, I was immediately forwarded directly to Mr. Brion, who took the time to explain all the relevant aspects of my policy and make recommendations to me. He was kind, courteous, and very clear in his explanations. He helped me make a decision that I could feel good about. The rest of my interactions have been minor. His office has checked in with me from time to time, offering to revisit my policies with me and extending offers to review information that could potentially lower my costs. I would recommend his office to anyone.

2. When I moved to Pennsylvania, I had hoped to keep my State Farm automotive insurance policy, so I looked for agents in the vicinity of the new home I purchased. When I contacted Tim Brion’s office, he and his employees were welcoming and willing to answer the many questions I had about costs and policy changes. When I mentioned that I was about to purchase my first home, Tim offered me a range of options for the type of coverage I would need to get before my mortgage would be approved. At one point in the process, my mortgage agency confused me with some rather convoluted paperwork involving my homeowner’s insurance (as well as PMI) and, when I brought my concerns to Tim’s office, the agent I spoke with helpfully answered all of my questions and clarified the muddied language in a way that made me feel much more confident moving forward in the process. In the months and years since I first worked with Tim’s office, I have been treated with respect and I appreciate the fact that the office will periodically call to discuss my options.

3. He’s a nice guy. They call me to go over my policy once a year but I never do it. The rate is pretty good. I think I submitted one or two claims for stupid stuff and they paid me quickly. I wish my premium was lower. I hate car insurance. I had a policy with this agent because his office was down the street from where I worked and the price was right at the time. Since then the premium has gone up. I got some tickets for speeding and running a stop sign I think. Those tickets should be falling off’ my record soon and hopefully the premium will go down. I don’t have my homeowners insurance bundled with the car insurance because of my record also. I hope to change that.
