Charles at the Keener agency is a fairly good, local agent. He and his staff are kind and responsive to questions and requests. They will generate a quote quickly and I have had no challenges with billing. Charles asks questions to help understand your needs, and is respectful about staying in budget and providing multiple options (monthly, quarterly, annually) for billing and explaining the differences and price breaks. The rates on Erie insurance for auto were competitive and comprehensive. I did end up shopping for Homeowner’s insurance once I became eligible for USAA, and their rates were a little bit better, plus they asked more defined questions to get me the correct coverage. So overall, I think the Keener Agency and Charles are very good at explaining and managing auto insurance, and could ask a few more questions on home insurance. They are accessible and polite at all times, which is a big plus.
