This agent took over for my old agent, who retired. I have never met him in person, nor have I had a need to visit the office since he took over. I have contacted them numerous times by telephone, and I feel I receive excellent customer service. I believe State Farm provides insurance at competitive rates, although, I’m sure I could find less expensive rates if I took the time to shop around.
The one thing I really disliked about this agent was that when he took over the agency, I started to receive emails asking if I wanted to insure my home and other vehicles with him. He used the address I gave to research what vehicles were registered to that address. The home and vehicles belong to my roommate, not to me. I thought it was a little creepy and Big Brother-ish that he contacted me about specific vehicles registered at my address.
