1. It was a fluke that I found them. I was at my attorney’s office, dissatisfied with many things, among them the high rate of my car insurance with allstate being as I’ve had three tickets in my life, and two of those were over 35 years ago, no accidents. Allie’s building is directly next door to my attorney’s, so after leaving there, I walked over to her office. Being an independent broker, she was able to rifle thru many companies finally giving me a quote that was $50 less on the *month* than I was paying Allstate. After that it was a no-brainer. This is a family company, the kind that sends its clients Christmas cards every year like all the local businesses did when I was a child. She calls me if something comes up – like one time Progressive had a malfunction and somehow no longer had my email address meaning I would’ve lost the $3/month email deduction. She’s just really great that way. I have since referred two of my family members to their office, who were also able to get deep discounts on their own policies. And I know that should I ever become dissatisfied with Progressive’s pricing or policies that it will be a simple matter to just drop in Allie’s office, or call, and she will be able and willing to rifle through her listings to pull up the very best policy for me that she can, and they offer other services like accounting and bookkeeping.
