2. During the process of buying a home I was faced with the challenge of finding a Home owners policy. I searched online for hours requesting quote after quote and my email and phone constantly going off with returned calls from insurance agencies. Everyone of the companies came back with quotes from the same 3-4 insurance companies, but all with varying coverages and amounts. It was overwhelming and scary trying to decide between choosing the best deal” and the best “value”. Every agent had a different opinion of what was acceptable coverage or not. I received a call from Arden Kennedy with yet another handful of quotes from the same companies, however he took the time to explain to me the reason why there were so many difference and what they all meant in words I could understand. I was buying a foreclosed property that had been vacant for over a year and that made the insurance companies nervous, so in turn they required a little more coverage in some areas and lowered what they would insure on other areas. After having that explanation it was so much easier to sit and find what was an absolute important area I couldn’t skimp on for ME, and he guided me thru the areas of the policy that he felt I could cut out safely for the first year until I can shop around for insurance again with the flexibility of more companies willing to insure my home after it isn’t considered a foreclosure anymore. I truly appreciated the time he spent making me feel like a valued customer rather than trying to make a quick dollar! I will definitely be buying my insurance policies from him in the future.
