1. I had been a State Farm customer for 30 years until two weeks ago. I contacted Jim to help me out with a claim on my home where I had damage to my roof. He argued with me without even seeing the damage. I explained to him that I needed to file the claim and he finally agreed reluctantly. After that horrible experience, I started looking at my other insurance that I had with State Farm and Jim (3 Cars, 1 motorcycle and 2 atvs). I shopped around and found better coverage for $2000 less per year. I was shocked how much money I was able to save with another company. I called his office to cancel my insurance and they didn’t even want to know why I was canceling or what they could do to retain my business. After being customer for 30 years, I felt betrayed, and used. Jim Malay, nor State Farm in general cares about anyone as a customer. They only care about raising premiums. NEEDLESS to say, I will NEVER USE STATE FARM or Jim Malay AGAIN, and I will tell everyone I know, every chance I get to tell my story about the horrible service I have received. “

2. From when i started my insurance with him i have been satisfied. He has also been very helpful when i needed it. He answered any questions i have had. He does not t try and push other types of insurance on to me. He does not seem to be trying to trick me for a better gain for himself. I believe he truely wanted to get me the best rate on my insurance. He seems to like his job and is a nice man overall. Last year i was in New York when a tractor trailer side swiped me while merging. After the initial claim he was very involved and made it as painless as possible for me to get the right services done. I was glad that i had someone competent on my side.
