1. I could probably find insurance more cheaply somewhere else but I have been with Scott’s agency (it was previously run by his father) for over ten years now. I have felt that I have been very fairly treated by the agency and that I have gotten good value for the price we have paid. We have had challenges with insurance companies in general in the Houston area because of hurricanes that have hit the gulf coast in 2005 through 2008. I have felt that my agent has helped me through the transition to the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association which was formed to provide insurance to homeowners in this area that were no longer protected by the insurance companies. Additionally, our agency was very helpful after our house was hit by Hurricane Ike in 2008. We were luckier than most people but still had quite a bit of damage due to the hurricane. Our agent was back to work quickly after the hurricane and an adjuster was sent out quickly to assess the damage to the house. The adjuster was very knowledgeable and was brought in by Allstate from Florida. The claim was processed quickly and we were able to repair the damage to our house.
   I am able to call and speak to our insurance agent and he is available to answer my questions. He is knowledgeable about insurance and that is valuable to me as well. We have had trouble getting car insurance and homeowners insurance from a rival insurance company so I am glad that we have had such good service and coverage over the years from Scott. “
