I was shopping around for the best prices for the most coverage. Barbara Kroeger informed me that certain limits I was seeking were unnecessary or excessive; therefore, my overall premium was higher. She worked with me to establish appropriate limits for my household based on my location and house size. Since I live about 20 minutes from the ocean, I was concerned about the hurricane deductible. Barbara was up front and told me that the company does charge 2%, which IS a lot if you think about it. However, the odds of that happening are slim.
