We went to the office once we moved to SC and renewed and transferred our insurance. The agent was very much about the sales aspect of the transaction, making sure that we were covered to meet the state needs as well as our personal needs for the best prices available. We learned afterwards that this agent is not directly involved with the claims process. It was out first time ever using the insurance and we were immediately directed to a toll free number to call for assistance. We managed to get everything settled with the representative and are very satisfied with GEICO as a whole, but it would have been nice to have a person to deal with locally for our claim issues instead of just a voice on the phone. No interaction with the agent concerning claim at all.
This agent was very knowledgeable about the products and services the company he represents offers. He was able to put everything on the table and compare to the competition. I would buy from him again if I had to. Beyond that I think that he was a very nice person and enjoyable to talk to. He gave me a free coffee and talked with me a bit before we got started. He has a great taste in music as well as I noted from the posters on his wall. I think that this man should be promoted because he is just such a great worker. I am sure that his family, friends, and co-workers are proud to know Tony, and I am sure Tony wears that like a badge. I can’t wait to see this guy again I love him.
I decided to switch insurance companies a few months ago when my previous insurer raised my rates without reason or explanation. Tony was recommended by my father in law. I spoke to him on the phone initially, and he was helpful enough that I thought it would be a good idea to meet with him in person. He provided a reasonable quote for my insurance needs, and has always been easily accessible when I need advice or feedback. I haven’t yet had to use the insurance policy, no accidents or anything of that nature, so I can’t yet say how helpful this agent will be when or if that time comes. However, based on the information I have gotten from my father in law and another family member I think that Tony will help me navigate any insurance needs that I may have in the future.
