1. I started my insurance with Chuck Davis and State Farm when I got my first car. My parents made me pay my own insurance as a teenager. All of their insurance was from Chuck Davis. I was put on their policy, and I paid them for the cost of the insurance. I have never changed agents twenty years later. I have had all of my vehicles insured through him. I have had renter’s policies through Mr. Davis before, although I do not now. I have my one vehicle now insured through Mr. Davis. I had my now ex-wife’s engagement ring insured through Mr. Davis. When I owned and lived in a condominium, I had the homeowners through Mr. Davis. I know own a condo that I rent out but have never lived in, and that policy is through Mr. Davis. I even bought State Farm mutual funds when they first began offering them.
   I’m not crazy about State Farm or my agent though. Mostly, I used them for each of the above needs because of momentum. It was easier continuing with him than it was to shop around for each different product. The service they provide is adequate. They are easily reachable when i need to speak with his office.
   One complaint I do have is their inability to deal with a divorce. It might not be the agent’s office fault, it might be State Farms, but they are still getting my account and my ex-wife’s account mixed up six years after my divorce. I still get birthday cars at my address for her. When she changed her address after moving a couple of years ago, they changed my address as well. For years, when I logged into my account at Statefarm.com, I would see her policies as well.
   To summarize, I have only one bad thing to say about my agent, but nothing to say outstanding either. He has provided adequate service to me through the years.
