Don Mcmanus’ insurance agency made it extremely simple for me to get insurance. I first got auto insurance with them and the only reason I did was because it was the cheapest option. I researched over a dozen different options and their price was by far the best for what was offered. As a frugal guy, this is a very important factor for me. Since then, my opinion of them has only improved due to their excellent customer service.
When I wanted to get renter’s insurance, they not only worked out a deal that would actually decrease my total monthly premium but also diligently spent time working with my apartment complex on hammering out the details. These guys make insurance a worry free and effortless process.
Although I have yet to file a claim on my insurance, I am confident that it will be handled exceptionally well based on my past interactions with Don Mcmanus and his team.
Our agent has been fine. We’ve been with him for 10+ years. We’ve only ever made one claim when my wife’s old car was totaled in a minor traffic accident. The agent gave us a fair value for the car without any haggling, and we got the money pretty quickly so we could get another car quickly. They also helped us with changing our payments from one big payment every six months to equal monthly payments. Every so often, I’ll go online to get quotes from other insurance agencies and it usually turns out they can only save us $10-15 a month on our car insurance. That’s not enough for me to switch. I like being loyal consistent with someone who does a good job. We also have gotten a little bit of discount for being with him for many years and being accident free for most of them, so that helps too.
