1. Straight forward, honest insurance guy with clients’ best interests at heart. Great followup and returns phone calls. Easy to get a hold of and very patiently explains complicated insurance issues. Very humble and down to earth. Never makes you feel you’re unworthy of his acquaintance.

2. When I moved I looked for a local Farmers agent because Farmers had been exceptional where I had lived. Anthony seemed like a decent agent at our initial meeting, so we continued with Farmers using him as our local agent.

   A few years earlier in my former location I had gotten a DUI, so I needed a special exemption on my insurance. I explained my situation to Anthony to ensure he could provide me what I needed, as my situation was very complicated. I needed insurance where I was now living, but needed the exemption in my old state for another couple years.

   Anthony assured me everything was taken care of and was able to provide a reasonable rate despite the complicated and costly exemption. Everything seemed to check out but as I was very busy in my new location I was unable to get to my local DMV to get a license in my new state for a few months. When I did go I was told I couldn’t get a license in my new state because my old license had been suspended because I cancelled the insurance I was carrying with my exemption. I called Anthony to get confirmation of what I had to satisfy the requirements. He continued to assure me I had everything I needed. I called the DMV in my old state with all the information I needed but was told the exemption I was carrying didn’t satisfy their requirements.

   Because of Anthony’s incompetence in insurance I had unknowingly had my old license suspended and was now unable to get a new license. I had paid for three months of insurance and the costly exemption because he assured me it was what I needed to satisfy the requirements. As it turned out those three months were never satisfying either state. At that time he told me he couldn’t sell me what I needed. Had he told me this at our first meeting I would have saved a lot of time and money and not had my license suspended. He also claimed no agency would be able to provide me what I needed to satisfy both states.

   I shopped around for insurance and found several agents at several companies that were able to help me. My situation was very complicated, but I took for granted that an insurance agent would be knowledgable of insurance requirements. Anthony lied to me and then made money off of me for three months before finally telling me the truth. My license was suspended because of his incompetence. He was so clueless that he told me nobody would be able to help me. Several agents proved that wrong. The agent I went with went the extra yard and insured he not only sold me what I needed but personally filed the required documentation and I was able to get my license within a week.

   I would not recommend anyone go to Anthony Diaz. He seems like nice enough and knowledgable enough until he gets your money. Then he doesn’t care about you.
