I recently tried to contact my agent on several occasions to help with the mortgage process for a refinancing of my home. My mortgage agent was unable to get in touch with the agent, and I was only able to speak with the agent once. After that, he ignored my request for a new rate quote. I have no confidence in my agent and would love to get a new one! The only reason that I have an account with the Sentinel Agency is because Sentinel is the local carrier for my policy, which is held by Travelers. I’ve had a very positive experience with Travelers, as their agents responded immediately to all of my questions, as well as to the questions presented by my mortgage agent. Hopefully, I’ll be able to switch local agents at some point soon.
